（距離）
Just as there is a physical distance between objects and buildings.
（物理的に物や建物に距離があるように）
I am sure that there is a distance between people's hearts.
（きっと人と人の心の間にも、距離がある。）
Whether you're near or far―――No matter where you are, there's always distance.
（近くに居ても、遠くに居ても―――どんな場所に居ようと距離はある。）
Distance between mind and heart.
（心と心の―――距離）
Is that a close fit?
（それはぴったりと密着しているのか）
Or is it something you can't reach?
（それとも手を伸ばしても届かないものなのか。）
Sometimes I wonder if it's okay to close the distance between me and that person.
（時にそのひととの距離を詰めてい良いのか、悩むときもある。）
It's easy to make the distance go away.
（距離を遠のかせるのは簡単なことだ。）
But the only thing that brings us closer together is
（けれど距離を近づけるのは）
Difficult.
（難しい。）
Don't be too careful, don't be too hasty.
（慎重過ぎても、性急し過ぎても）
When it works, it works, and when it doesn't, it doesn't.
（うまくいくときはうまくいくし、そうでないときはそうでははない。）
But that's how we humans try to create relationships.
（けれど、そうやってあたしたち人間は関係を創り上げようとする。）
I don't think that's a bad thing.
（悪いことではないと思うけど、）
But don't make any mistakes.
（計り間違えないで。）
